The first meeting of the working group formed within the framework of the Interagency Committee on National Security Strategy Development was held

On August 9, 2019, the first meeting of the working group formed within the framework of the Interagency Committee on the Development of the National Security Strategy of the Republic of Armenia was held at the Security Council Office, chaired by the Head of the Security Council Hayk Petrosyan.

During the meeting, Head of the Defence Policy Department of the Security Council Office Grigor Boyakhchyan presented the draft structure and introduction of the new National Security Strategy. The presentation was proceeded by discussions where the members of the interagency working group expressed their views on the issues presented.

At the end of the session, the process, timetable and other organizational issues of the interagency working group on the development of the RA National Security Strategy were clarified.
