Today, at the office of the Security Council, the Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan welcomed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mr. Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi upon the latter's request.
Ambassador Sajjadi, informing of the completion of his four-year term of office and of the work done during his diplomatic mission in Armenia, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by various agencies of the RA to the Iranian Embassy in the past period.

At the meeting, held in warm and friendly atmosphere, Armen Grigoryan noted, that the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran have repeatedly demonstrated their mutual commitment to maintain and develop high-level political, economic and cultural relations for millennia.

Placing high value with respect to the rich history of mutual assistance and cooperation between the two countries and their peoples, Secretary Grigoryan also thanked Ambassador Sajjadi for his hard work and dedication during his mission in Armenia and wished him success in his future appointments.

During the meeting, they also touched upon the upcoming high-level mutual visits, as well as joint programs.
