“Dear compatriots,

In a few hours the year of 2018 will become history.

We are entering not only a new year, but also a new stage in the development of our country and society.

I am confident that we will record new achievements in all areas of our state, security and public affairs.

2019 was a year of establishment and condolidaton of revolution, and 2020 will be a year of developments and achievements. One of the great achievements of this year is the relative peace at the border, as a result of which human lives were saved.
More important than that, it's hard to imagine.

As a result of all the successes of 2019 we have gained the confidence to set and achieve greater goals.

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!

I wish that these days all around will be dominated by high spirits and optimism.

May the New Year bring peace and prosperity to your families and our country."
