"Today we are celebrating the history of our heroic army, which was created through the united efforts of the Armenian people. The Armenian army is the defender of our united homeland, national interests and values.
Glory and honor to those who have sacrificed their lives for the sacred work of defending the Motherland.

“The Army is a soldier. The soldier is also a citizen. In fact, the highest duty and privilege of citizenship is to bear arms for the country.” These words of General Paton are relevant to the Armenian soldier and the Armenian army. Yes, we are all indebted to the Motherland, we all have our responsibility. But if that responsibility is part of our service, for the military it is the meaning of life.

The whole process of our state's history is inseparably linked to the army. It is because of this strong union that Armenia has defended its independence, dignity and democracy at the most difficult times. It is thanks to the selfless love, courage, heroism, skill and improvement of the Soldiers of the glorious Armenian Army towards our homeland that we have been able to win and make responsible decisions that have led to our country's peace and fate.

Our political team is committed to continuously developing the economy, which will allow large-scale investments in the well-being of the military, the improvement of social conditions and the acquisition of modern armaments. We have had unprecedented success in all of that areas in 2019, persistently pursuing defense reforms.

Our army is our pride. The Armenian officer and soldier not only protect the borders of our homeland, but also render selfless service in international peacekeeping operations, serving the entire humanity. The contribution of the Armenian army is countless and priceless.
