The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan Gave an Interview to Petros Ghazaryan on Armenian Public Television

11 / 11 / 2021

On November 11, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, was hosted in the pavilion of the First Channel "Interview with Petros Ghazaryan" program.

Speaking about customs and passport control by Azerbaijan on a section of Goris-Kapan road, the Secretary of the Security Council emphasized that the points carrying out those functions will not be in the sovereign territory of Armenia. By the same logic, Armenia will set up its customs and passport control points.

The Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, particularly stressed that as a result of the change of traffic logic, no village or settlement located in that part of the road would be isolated.
There is already an alternative Kapan-Tatev-Shinuhayr road joining the M2 highway, which will make the traffic unimpeded.

Highly appreciating the work of the trilateral working group, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that within the framework of the working group, there is an agreement on unblocking the region, in the context of which Armenia remains faithful to the statements of November 9 and January 11.
