On February 14, the Secretary of the Security Council gave an interview to "Factor TV".
At the beginning of the interview, answering the question about the situation around Ukraine and its possible consequences in our region, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that Armenia has active discussions with all its partners for keeping the region at the centre of attention. The Armenian side has received assurances that the region will continue to be at the centre of attention. A. Grigoryan added that the government is constantly working to assess the possible economic and military-political impacts in the region and Armenia.
Answering the question on the process of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in 2016 and the referendum expected within its framework, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that if in the Kazan document the right to self-determination and interim status was a bilateral agreement and was present in the joint document then the document to be signed by the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan did not mention the exercise of the right to self-determination as an action.
