On May 31, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, was hosted in the pavilion of CivilNet online TV channel.
Answering the question on the launch of the first satellite of Armenia into space, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that with the acquisition of the satellite, Armenia acquired capabilities and infrastructure, which are very important for our country in the sense that the long-standing space production in Armenia will be restored. The above mentioned will contribute to the development of science and the growth of interest in business circles. A. Grigoryan stressed that this step should be considered in the context of increasing government funding for science by 82%, and "Satlantis" will train the team involved in the data processing process. Space photos can be used for border monitoring, agriculture, emergency prevention and other purposes.
During the interview, in addition to addressing some domestic issues, the normalisation process of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was also discussed.
