The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan spoke at the “ARM GOV” pavilion about the new National Security Strategy, the three basic principles enshrined in it: being the guarantor of one's own security, the perpetuity of Armenian statehood, and resilience.

At the beginning of the interview, the Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan mentioned - "We believe that sovereignty and being responsible for our own security is the best way to bring our security to the highest level."

Touching upon the main principles defined in the new National Security Strategy, Armen Grigoryan mentioned: - "In the National Security Strategy, we have put the principle of resilience in connection with the principle of the perpetuity of Armenian statehood - giving flesh and blood to it," he said. It assumes that the approach to security is whole-of-government. During the July events the relative calmness of the society and the solid work carried out by the whole system of government is a wonderful example of resilience."

Speaking about the threats to national security, the Secretary of the Security Council said: – “Any kind of corruption in Armenia is a threat to our security. It has adverse effects our resilience and capabilities.”
