OSCE delegation was held at the office of the Security Council

On February 11 2019, a working meeting with the OSCE delegation was held at the office of the Security Council during which a wide range of issues related to the democratic control of the security sector of the Republic of Armenia was discussed. Welcoming the participants, the advisor to the secretary of SC A. Margaryan presented the structure and functions of the Security Council and its office, in that context emphasizing the importance of civil society engagement in the process of developing the security policy.
A reference was made to the cooperation and development possibilities between the SC office and non-governmental organizations.
The members of the OSCE delegation expressed their willingness to provide expert assistance in the processes of civil society engagement in the security sector.
