Meeting at the SC Office

On March 25, 2019 a meeting was held at the Security Council Office between the Delegation of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and the representatives of the SC Office.

Welcoming the guests, the Head of the SC Office Armine Margaryan mentioned that the Security Council Office is ready to deepen cooperation with the Center in the field of the fight against illegal drug trafficking.

Head of the Delegation, Project Manager of the "EU4 Monitoring Drugs project 2019-2021" Ilze Jacobson, in turn, presented the objectives of the "EU4 Monitoring Drugs project 2019-2021" program proposed for Armenia, in particular emphasizing that the goal of the program is to promote capacity-building in the fight against drug addiction, illegal trafficking of the narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in the EU partner countries and stimulate regional cooperation.
