The Secretary of the National Security Council Secretariat Received the Ambassador of India

Today, the secretary of the National Security Council Secretariat Mr. Yuri Khachaturov received the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of India to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Yogeshwar Sangwan.
During the meeting a wide scope of issues of bilateral relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of India has been discussed.
The interlocutors stressed that the active interstate dialogue anchored in friendly relations coming from centuries between the two nations identifies new areas of cooperation and is a firm basis for further strengthening of collaboration.
Mr. Yuri Khachaturov and Mr. Yogeshwar Sangwan concurred that Armenia and India have wide opportunities and unused huge potential for the development of the trade and economic ties, expansion of cooperation in a number of prospective areas, including the security sector.
At the meeting the interlocutors also referred to issues of mutual interest, as well as recent international and regional developments have been discussed.
