
The Secretary of the National Security Council received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates

Today, the secretary of the National Security Council Mr. Armen Gevorgyan received the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Armenia H.E. Mr. Jassim Mohamed Al Qasemi.
During the meeting a wide scope of issues on bilateral relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates has been discussed.
The interlocutors stressed that the active interstate dialogue anchored in mutual understanding of the two nations identifies new areas of cooperation and is a firm basis for further strengthening of cooperation.
Ambassador Qasemi assured that during his tenure he would do his best to deepen the existing close and good-neighbourly relations between Armenia and the UAE.
The NSC secretary and the ambassador concurred that along with high-level political relations there are also wide opportunities and still unused huge potential for the development of the trade and economic ties, expansion of cooperation in a number of prospective areas.
During the meeting other issues of mutual interest, as well as recent international and regional developments have been discussed.
