Interagency Meeting in the Framework of the CSTO

Meeting of the Interagency Committee Coordinating the Implementation of Measures in the Framework of the CSTO.
Today, the meeting of the Interagency Committee (formed by the RA President NK-130-A decree of the 18th July, 2016) Coordinating the Implementation of Measures within the CSTO was held. The meeting was chaired by the head of the committee, National Security Council Secretary Mr. Armen Gevorgyan.
In the framework of the agenda decisions made within the 2015 September and December sessions of the CSTO Collective Security Council and also the implementation of plan of priority measures proposed during the Republic of Armenia’s presidency of the Organization were summarized. Particularly, issues concerning preparations of the “Forum on Provision of the CSTO Member-States’ Cyber Security with the Application of New Information Technologies” were discussed. The forum is to be held in the Republic of Armenia in 2016.
During the committee meeting reference was made as well to further improvement of the admission process of the Armenian students to the Russian universities for the places and professions with the CSTO quotas.
Based on the results of the discussions appropriate instructions have been given.
