
Armen Gevorgyan received Nikolay Bordyuzha

National Security Council Secretary, Chairman of the Committee of the CSTO Security Secretaries Armen Gevorgyan today received Nikolai Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Organization, who is in Armenia to participate in the session of the CSTO Foreign Ministers’ Council.
CSTO Secretary General presented the process of the implementation of the RA chairmanship’s priorities in the Organization and the decisions of the Organization’s regulatory bodies, including the conciliation of the draft of the “CSTO Collective Security Strategy up to 2025” project. The interlocutors also discussed issues related to the preparatory process of the conference on ensuring cyber security of the CSTO member states which will be held in Armenia in 2016.
Reference was also made to a number of other issues related to the CSTO crisis response, countering contemporary challenges and threats, education of the Armenian citizens in the Russian Federation educational establishments with the possibility of receiving state scholarship with the CSTO quotas. It was stressed the importance of expanding and deepening cooperation in the above- mentioned directions within the Organization.
During the meeting the interlocutors also discussed issues related to the regional and international security and other matters.
