The 7th International Meeting Coordinating Security Issues

On May 24-25, the 7th International meeting of high-level representatives coordinating the security issues was held in the Russian city of Grozny. It was attended by the delegations of 78 countries and the UN. The Republic of Armenia was represented by the Acting Chief of Staff of the National Security Council Mr. A. Tananyan.

In the scope of the agenda issues participants of the meeting presented reports on “Countering Extremism and Terrorism for Ensuring the International and Regional Security”. Mr. A. Tananyan had a report in the framework of the above mentioned topic.
During the meeting the issues on “Migration Processes as a Challenge to Regional and International Security” and “Formation of the International Information Security System and the Principles and Rules of States’ Conduct in the Global Information Area” were discussed.

Decision was made to hold the next 8th International meeting of high-level representatives coordinating the security issues in 2017.
