VI International meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues was held on

On June 24-25 VI international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues was held on in Ulan-Ude, which was attended by secretaries of security councils, ministers, assistants of the Presidents and prime minister for security issues, security chiefs and other senior executives from 64 countries, and 2 UN delegations. Acting Chief of Staff of the National Security Council A. Tananyan also attended the meeting.

The main issue of the agenda was devoted to international interaction against increasing threats of neo global extremism and its new manifestations. During the meeting, discussions were also held on the theme: "Fresh water is a strategic resource for sustainable development of international security", "The role of Russia in ensuring biological safety at the international level", "Formation of the system of international information security: approaches and initiatives of Russia".
