The meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held on

On May 20, the delegation of the National Security Council Staff headed by theActing Chief of Staff of the National Security Council Aram Tananyan,participated in the meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) which was held in Tajikistan. The CSTO Secretary-general Nikolai Bordyuzha attended and had a speech.

During the meeting the issues of international and collective security in the area of the whole Treaty and the issues of combating the recruitment and departure of citizens of some member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to participate in the armed conflict in the Middle East on the side of international terrorist organizations were discussed.
A Plan of consultations on foreign policy, security and defense between representatives of member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in the first half of 2015 was considered and approved.
