Armenian Delegation Participated in the fifth International Meeting of the High Representatives Coordinating Security Issues

On June 19-21, the delegation of the National Security Council Staff participated in the fifth International Meeting of the High Representatives Coordinating Security Issues in Kazan. The meeting hosted delegations from 61 countries.

The opening ceremony was held by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolay Patrushev who conducted the first session.
The head of the Armenian delegation Aram Tananyan had a report on the ongoing process of combating drug trafficking in Armenia, the results registered, as well as the “Kanal” anti-drug operation held within the framework of the CSTO, the “Kanal-Caucasus” and the “Cannabis-Poppy” measures, on the cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), etc.
