Armenia is interested in deepening bilateral relations with China

The Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan received a delegation of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China headed by Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the CPC Zhou Li.
Welcoming the guests, Artur Baghdasaryan emphasized that Armenia attaches great importance to the development of relations with China: “There is a high level of political relations between our countries. Armenia is interested in further deepening bilateral cooperation with China, in particular, in the fields of economy and security. ”
Emphasizing the importance of the Armenian-Chinese cooperation in the field of security, the Secretary of the National Security Council noted that there is a great potential for development for this.
Thanking for the reception, Zhou Li conveyed to Arthur Baghdasaryan the warm greetings of his Chinese colleague. He also noted: “Armenia is one of the most reliable partners of China, and we attach great importance to the development and expansion of bilateral relations.”
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues relating to the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Armenia and China.
Zhou Li informed that the National Security Council was established in the People’s Republic of China, headed by the President of the Republic, and there are all the necessary conditions for the establishment and development of cooperation between the Security Councils of Armenia and China.
Arthur Baghdasaryan asked Zhou Li to hand over an invitation to visit Armenia to a member of the political bureau of the Chinese Central Committee, secretary of the political legal commission Mena Jinjun.
During the meeting, Arthur Baghdasaryan and Zhou Li addressed regional issues.
The parties also discussed issues related to the further development of the established cooperation between the “Orinats Yerkir” Party and the Communist Party of China.
Arthur Baghdasaryan invited representatives of the Chinese Communist Party to take part in the next congress of his political party, which was accepted with gratitude. In turn, Zhou Li invited representatives of the “Orinats Yerkir” Party to visit China.
