
The Secretary of the National Security Council received the Ambassador of China to Armenia

Today, the Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Armenia Tian Changchun.
The Secretary of the National Security Council and the Ambassador discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Armenia and China.
Arthur Baghdasaryan noted that Armenia is interested in further deepening bilateral relations with China, in particular, in the field of economy and security.
In turn, the ambassador informed that the State Security Council was established in China headed by the President of the Republic, and there are all the necessary conditions for the establishment and development of interaction between the Security Councils of Armenia and China.
The parties also discussed issues related to the visit to Armenia of a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the CPC Central Committee Menya Jianju, which will be held at the invitation of Arthur Baghdasaryan.
During the meeting, Arthur Baghdasaryan and Tian Changchun also touched upon regional issues.
The delegation of the Chinese Communist Party headed by Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the CPC Zhou Li will arrive in Armenia on February 14-16 this year. Within the framework of established and developing cooperation between the “Orinats Yerkir” Party and the Communist Party of China, head of the Chinese delegation Zhou Li will also be received by the Chairman of the “Orinats Yerkir” Party, Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.
