The Secretary of the Security Council hosted the delegation of the “Global Leadership Foundation”

Today, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan hosted the delegation which comprises of the United States Ambassador to UN in 1989-1992 Thomas Pickering, former President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey, UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations from 2011 to 2017 Hervé Ladsous as well as the Foundation projects Director Amitav Banerjee.
The secretary welcomed the members of the delegation and presented the changes that have taken place in Armenia and in the region over the past one year, the current state of the Artsakh issue as well as the functions and activities of the Security Council.
The guests expressed their readiness to assist as much as possible in Armenia’s development emphasizing that during the visit they will strive to determine to the utmost in which domains and how they can contribute to this task.
Then, the participants of the meeting had a constructive exchange of thoughts.
