Transition experience exchange between Romania and Armenia

Within the framework of the Transition experience exchange between Romania and Armenia program organized by the Caucasus Institute from May 29 to June 5 of this year the Armenian delegation visited Romania. Head of the Department of Democratic Institutions of the SC Office Ashkhen Beglaryan was also a member of the delegation.

The program is a joint initiative of the Caucasus Institute (Armenia) and the Expert Forum (Romania) supported by the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the Black Sea Trust.

Within the framework of the program the Armenian delegation met with the deputies of The Save Romania Union (USR) faction, as well as visited the office of the Union of Armenians of Romania and met with Head of the Group of National Minorities of the Parliament of Romania, Head of the Armenian community organization Varujan Pambukchyan, got acquainted with the activities of the Armenian community and current challenges.

During the visit a number of other visits and meetings with the international experts, institutes, representatives of the state institutions and former high-ranking state officials took place.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Romania Sergey Minasyan also received the delegation.
