Today, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received the delegation headed by UN Resident Coordinator Shombi Sharp.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the rich experience of joint activities done in the past and exchanged views on possible cooperation in the implementation of reforms in the fields of police, law enforcement system and crime prevention mechanisms.

They touched upon the issues of violence, propaganda of violence, things to do in the fight against criminal thinking, activities done towards demographic situation and cooperation.

UN Resident Coordinator Shombi Sharp presented the details of the UN internal reform package and the results of some programs conducted by UN in Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, the sides once again emphasized the prospects and importance of the close bilateral cooperation.
