
The 11th session of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) took place in Yerevan.

Today, the 11th session of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) took place in Yerevan. Delegations from the national teams of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation arrived in Yerevan to participate in the session.
Delegations from the national parts of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation arrived in Yerevan from Russia, Belarussia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to participate in the session.
Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan and Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha made a welcoming speech at the official opening of the session.
NSC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan particularly mentioned in his speech, "Today we can say that due to the combination of our forces, we have achieved tangible results in the sphere of military-economic integration and complex solutions within the CSTO framework. Within the framework of this session, "KAMAZ-ARMENIA" certified service center will be opened.
In his speech Arthur Baghdasaryan highlighted the significant role of the Business Council in the integration of military-industrial enterprises of the CSTO member states, noting that joint ventures and service centers are under construction.
Artur Baghdasaryan also spoke about the interdepartmental commission on the implementation of the program and the concept of the reform and development of the military industry of Armenia to be set up, which will include summarizing and evaluating the results of the relevant programs in the military industry for the implementation of the activities envisaged by the concept.
According to CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha, the role of military-economic cooperation as an important component of cooperation in the security sector is rising. N. Bordyuzha stressed that one of the main directions of cooperation in the future will be the creation of military service repair centers.
At the end of the session, the heads of the national parts of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation signed a protocol, where the decisions made during the session were fixed.
