Today, Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan received the delegation headed by EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle.

The interlocutors discussed the current state of Armenia-EU cooperation and prospects for further development.

Both sides positively assessed the level of cooperation and the rapid development of relations.

Artur Baghdasaryan touched upon the programs implemented within the framework of Armenia-EU cooperation, noting that all the programs are in the process of success.

In his speech, Štefan Füle noted that the Eastern Partnership Vilnius summit will be a turning point in Armenia-EU relations, as the EU wants to sign the Association Agreement and that these agreements can become a political association and an economic integration tool.

Štefan Füle has expressed his readiness to support the process of reforms since they are fully in line with the philosophy of the European Neighborhood Policy.

The interlocutors also discussed issues related to regional security, peace and stability.
