Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan met with Secretary General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Muradbek Imanaliev

Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan, who was in China on a working visit, met with Secretary General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Muradbek Imanaliev and discussed with him issues on Armenia’s membership to the organization as an observer.

Baghdasaryan also participated in the joint conference organized by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the CSTO. The CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha attended the event too.
The conference was followed by the meeting of Baghdasaryan and Bordyuzha during which the interlocutors discussed issues relating to Armenia-CSTO cooperation. Afterwards Artur Baghdasaryan met with the member of Chinese Communist party Chen Fensian. During the meeting the participants discussed a wide-range of issues relating to Armenian-Chinese strategic cooperation.

Chen Fensian was conveyed the official invitations of Armenia’s Republican party and Rule of Law to pay visit to Armenia.

It has officially been stated about the inter-party cooperation between the Rule of Law and Chinese Communist party. The next working meeting was with Chinese investment agency head with who Baghdasaryan discussed Chinese participation and investments in a number of projects of strategic significance.
