NSC Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan received Canan Atilgan

Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan today received the newly appointed Director of the Conrad Adenauer Foundation's South Caucasus Political Dialogue Regional Program dr. Canan Atilgan. The Konrad Adenauer Foundation is a German political foundation that supports the development of democracy, rule of law and socio-market economy and has more than 70 offices around the world. Arthur Baghdasaryan emphasized the need to give new impetus to the cooperation between Armenia and the German Fund. The prospect of establishing a Caucasus-Europe international political club with the participation of prominent politicians in the region and EU member states was discussed. Ms Atilgan said she was ready to contribute to further deepening cooperation and take concrete steps in the near future to launch the above project, which is planned to be implemented with the support of the Foundation.
