Deeper cooperation with Russian-Belarusian “Defense Systems” Holding

A working consultation was held today attended by the Chief of Staff of the National Security Council Artashes Avoyan, the Head of the First Department Aram Tananyan and the delegation of the Russian-Belarusian “Defense Systems” holding, which is on an official visit to Armenia.

The visit of the delegation is conditioned by the agreements reached between the RF National Security, the heads of the RF Federal Service for Military-technical Cooperation and the NSC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan during his visit to the Russian Federation on March, this year. The visit is as well in the context of the memorandum of understanding signed in August between the Armenian Ministry of Defense and the RF Federal Service for Military-technical Cooperation.
The delegation presented in detail the results of the visits to a number of enterprises of the Armenian military-industrial complex, made reference to their scientific-technical and financial potential and already ongoing process of their membership to the “Defense Systems” holding.
During the meeting concrete agreements were reached aimed at further deepening of cooperation between Armenia’s military-industrial complex and Russian-Belarusian “Defense Systems” holding as regards key directions and priorities of joint activities as well as organizational issues that require rapid solutions.
