International community must condemn Azerbaijani provocative actions

The meeting started with a discussion of issues related to the Armenia-EU 2009-2011 Action Plan. Artur Baghdasaryan said in the current year Armenia was going to be more active in the implementation process of all the reforms and activities under the European Neighbourhood Program.
The interlocutors touched upon the NK issue and recent provocative actions from Azerbaijani side in particular. Artur Baghdasaryan said the international community should condemn similar actions as well as Azerbaijani bellicose statements to prevent their recurrence. Peter Semneby expressed concerns in this regard and said this fact deserved indeed the attention of the international community.
With reference to the European Parliament 2216 formula regarding conflict regulation in South Caucasus region, Artur Baghdasaryan stated that those formulas or statements, which are unilateral and not based on all-encompassing information, do overshadow negotiation process for peaceful regulation of the NK issue.
In addition, the parties discussed other issues related to regional developments.
