
Collapsed Mughni church of Saint Gevorg in Tbilisi to be restored

NSC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan today received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Georgia to Armenia Grigor Tabatadze.
The parties discussed Armenian-Georgian bilateral issues. They shared the opinion that Armenian-Georgian relations are based on a friendly foundation, and there are no issues between two countries impossible to settle through joint discussions.
The officials attached importance to further deepening of cooperation between the National Security Councils of Armenia and Georgia.
They also touched upon agenda issues between Armenia and Georgia, including matters related to Javakhq. Artur Baghdasaryan raised the issues related to Javakhq social-economic problems and Armenian church lands and in the territory of Georgia. The Ambassador informed that according to a decision the collapsed Mughni church of Saint Gevorg in Tbilisi will be restored within one year, and Javakhq issues are in the centre of attention of the Georgian authorities.
