Technical security concept to be developed in Armenia

The working group on technical security concept development held its first sitting today chaired by NSC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan, Chairman of the inter-agency commission coordinating Armenia’s cooperation with European structures.

Underlining the fact that the development of the strategy is consistent with the “National Security Strategy” and Armenia-EU 2009-2011 Action Plan, Artur Baghdasaryan highlighted the importance of establishing a technical security contemporary system and carrying out a study of European best practices and the legal amendments in this domain.
By a decision adopted at the sitting, the concept paper and the corresponding legal acts will be elaborated in collaboration with European experts at a possible shortest period and be submitted for approval in accordance with the procedure.
