Information security concept approved

Today, the inter-agency working group on information security concept held a session chaired by NSC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan.

The concept, developed in three months’ time, includes all the recommendations of the agency representatives involved. Artur Baghdasaryan said concept is of exceptional importance in terms of information security in Armenia.
The concept paper defines the interests of the Republic of Armenia in the field of information security, the types and sources of information security threats and the general issues and mechanisms of ensuring information. Concept includes the general provisions of information security state policy and key actions of implementation.
The concert was approved at the session and it will be submitted to the National Security Council for approval.
