Meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia

Today secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received Sergei Pavlovich Kopyrkin, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia at the Security Council Office. During the meeting, the sides reaffirmed the high level of trust in the Armenian-Russian relations and their commitment of not only preserving but also continuously deepening them. Armen Grigoryan and Sergei Pavlovitch Kopyrkin agreed that there was additional potential in the relations between the two countries and their mission was to consistently replenish this potential by expanding economic, military-political, humanitarian and cultural cooperation, which, in its turn, will contribute to the strengthening of regional and international security.
Ambassador Kopyrkin pointed out with satisfaction that Russia highlighted the continuity of Armenian-Russian strategic and allied relations by the new Armenian authorities.
The meeting took place in warm and constructive atmosphere.
