Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan welcomed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia H.E. Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri

The Secretary of the Security Council discussed the Armenian-Iranian good-neighborly relations, referred to the Armenian-Iranian cooperation in the development of regional strategic infrastructures, as well as the regional military-political security situation.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue effective cooperation in the fields of security, economy, infrastructure development, science and other areas.

Ambassador Zohuri praised the significant role of Iranian-Armenians who have contributed to the development of science and technology in Iran, and noted their active involvement in the development of bilateral relations.

The Secretary of the Security Council expressed confidence that there is an untapped potential for further development and deepening of bilateral relations, which can create new opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
