
Phone conversation between the RA Secretary of Security Council Armen Grigoryan and the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev

Today, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, and the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, held a phone conversation.
The Secretary of Security Council discussed the current situation on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact and highlighted Azerbaijan’s role in instigating the war, transferring the conflict into the territory of the Republic of Armenia, and targeting the peaceful population. The Secretary of Security Council Armen Grigoryan also emphasized that the Artsakh Defense Army along the entire line of contact and the Armed Forces of Armenia along the Armenian state border have been performing their missions remarkably and have full control of the situation. Armen Grigoryan also singled out Turkey’s damaging role in regional security.
The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, expressed deep concerns regarding the situation and the developments. He stressed the importance of settling the conflict solely via peaceful means.
