
The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Met With the Secretary of the Security Council of Tajikistan Nasrullo Makhmudzoda

The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan and the Secretary of the Security Council of Tajikistan Nasrullo Makhmudzoda met within the framework of the session of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CSTO member states in Dushanbe.
At the beginning of the meeting, Armen Grigoryan thanked Nasrullo Makhmudzoda for the warm reception of the Armenian delegation and for organizing the meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils at the highest level.
Both parties noted that their meeting is the first official bilateral meeting between the Secretaries of the Security Councils of Armenia and Tajikistan.
Armen Grigoryan stated that the two states have long been successfully working together within the framework of the CSTO. He is confident that the time has come to intensify the bilateral relations.
To develop Armenian-Tajik cooperation, Mr. Grigoryan shared his experience of bilateral cooperation with the CSTO partners, the mechanisms that have shown their effectiveness, and particularly the cooperation plans between the CSTO Security Council offices. In this context, Armen Grigoryan recommended to begin mutual collaboration aimed at developing a similar document.
The parties are confident that the signing of a document between the two countries would provide a basis for mutually beneficial cooperation in various security areas.
