Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas

Today, a call took place between the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan and the Secretary-General of the CSTO Stanislav Zas.

The main topic of the conversation was the recent tensions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. In this context, Secretary Grigoryan briefed Stanislav Zas on the current situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

During the conversation, Armen Grigoryan stressed that there are no basis to the demands and ambitions of the Azerbaijani side.

The parties discussed the existing mechanisms within the CSTO that would allow a quick and complete resolution of the situation.

Stanislav Zas assured to actively contribute to the implementation of steps for peaceful settlement of the issue within the limits of his responsibilities.
