
A phone Conversation of the Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan with the Secretary of the Security Council of Tajikistan, the Incumbent Chairman of the Committee of the Secretaries of Security Councils of the CSTO Nasrullo Makhmudzoda Was Held

During the phone call, Armen Grigoryan presented Nasrullo Makhmudzoda the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at this moment.
Nasrullo Makhmudzoda highlighted the importance of the peaceful regulation of the issue and expressed his willingness to support the effectuation of the mechanisms in the framework of the CSTO to tackle the issue.
Armen Grigoryan attached importance to the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Ministers of the CSTO scheduled on 19 May considering it as a favorable platform for discussion of the above-mentioned issue.
During the conversation, Armen Grigoryan noted that the claims of the Azerbaijani side do not have factual ground and highlighted the importance of full and immediate withdrawal of the Azerbaijani armed forces from those territories.
Nasrullo Makhmudzoda, in his turn, added that the President of Tajikistan and incumbent Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council Emomali Rahmon gave relevant instructions to have a comprehensive discussion on the subject matter in the framework of the meeting of the Committee of Foreign Affairs Ministers of the CSTO.
