The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan Met With the US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne M. Tracy

On November 16, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, received US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy.

A. Grigoryan presented the operative tactical situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border following the attack by the Azerbaijani armed forces.

The Secretary of the Security Council stressed that these actions of Azerbaijan are a blow to the democracy of Armenia.

A. Grigoryan reaffirmed the position of the Armenian side that the troops needed to retreat to the positions preceding the invasion in May 2021 in a mirrored way. The Secretary of the Security Council also noted that Armenia is ready to start the process of demarcation and delimitation, which, however, has nothing to do with the Nagorno Karabakh issue.
