Working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia

Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan today held a working meeting with Mrs. Judith Margaret Farnworth, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia. Both sides highlighted the role of the RA Security Council in the country's sustainable development and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and expand the spheres of collaboration.
Ambassador Farnworth also underlined Armenia's important role in the international peacekeeping missions. Welcoming the new Government's transparent policy strategy she highlighted the ongoing reforms in public institutions, as well as the ongoing process of building civil society and democracy.
During the meeting they also discussed a number of issues related to bilateral relations.
