On November 15, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, received the delegation of special envoys of the EU and EU member states on the Eastern Partnership.
A. Grigoryan welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the development of Armenia-EU relations based on democratic values as well as individual bilateral ties with Armenia-EU member states. The Secretary also expressed confidence that multi-sectoral cooperation has the opportunity to include the security sector as well. Grigoryan highlighted the potential of the EU observation mission in the context of strengthening security in the region.
The Secretary of the Security Council answered the questions of the envoys, presenting some details of the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiation process, unblocking regional economic ties and transport infrastructures and some details of demarcation and border security processes.
