The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan Received Michael Carpenter

On October 22, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, received Michael Carpenter, Special Assistant to the President of the United States and Senior Director for Europe at the National Security Council.

The interlocutors discussed various issues related to RA-US bilateral relations, discussed implementing the agreements already reached, and outlined ways to cooperate further.

The meeting addressed both the extra-regional and regional security situation. During the discussion, the negotiation process aimed at settling Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was also highlighted. The Secretary of the Security Council reiterated the commitment to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan as soon as possible.
