The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Received Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE Anwar Gargash

On December 17, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received diplomatic advisor to the president of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash.

The interlocutors discussed the existing relations between Armenia and the UAE. They noted with satisfaction the recent development of bilateral economic relations and the intensified cooperation in various fields, particularly highlighting trade turnover and tourism. In the context of the above, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that in January-October 2024, Armenia's mutual trade turnover with the UAE amounted to $4.8 billion.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the "Crossroads of Peace" project, developed by the Armenian government, and emphasised the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the context of the project.
