The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Received a Delegation Led by Ara Shahverdyan Head of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran

On January 13, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received a delegation led by Ara Shahverdyan, Head of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Grigoryan welcomed the delegation’s visit to Armenia and emphasized that Armenia-Iran bilateral relations are rooted in solid foundations and shared natural interests. A.Grigoryan also underscored steps to promote the continuous development of the ties. Ara Shahverdyan, in turn, noted that bilateral relations tend to develop further.

The interlocutors stressed the significance of Armenia's “Crossroads of Peace” project, emphasizing its role in promoting peace and security in the South Caucasus.
