The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Geoffrey van Leeuwen

On April 17, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, within the framework of his working visit to Brussels, met with the Head of the Personal Office of the NATO Secretary General, Geoffrey van Leeuwen.

The interlocutors discussed the security situation in the South Caucasus and the process of normalising relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In this context, A. Grigoryan presented the steps taken by the Armenian government, and J. van Leeuwen welcomed the completion of negotiations on the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and emphasised the importance of efforts to sign the treaty.

During the meeting, reference was made to Armenia-NATO bilateral relations and cooperation prospects.
