At the invitation of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting and a working dinner with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian.

The parties emphasised with satisfaction the importance of the increasingly frequent mutual visits and their contribution to the development of bilateral multi-sectoral cooperation.

A. Grigoryan and A. Ahmadian referred to the security situation in the South Caucasus region and emphasised the importance of continuing joint efforts to confront security challenges.
