On May 29, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received US Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Joshua Huck.

The Secretary of the Security Council welcomed the Deputy Assistant Secretary's visit to Armenia and highlighted the multifaceted development of bilateral relations. The Deputy Prime Minister, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasised the American side's willingness to support the further development of bilateral relations. In the context of the above, the parties exchanged views on the Armenia-US bilateral agenda, within the framework of which A. Grigoryan also emphasised the importance of the continuity of joint efforts for developing a strategic partnership.

The meeting also touched upon the regional security situation. The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia presented the latest developments in the process of normalising relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and emphasised the importance of signing a peace treaty.
