The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Received Allison Hooker

On November 17, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Allison Hooker.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the established peace in the South Caucasus, describing it as a historic achievement. The Secretary of the Security Council emphasized the institutionalization of the peace process and highlighted the ongoing work toward the unblocking of regional transport routes. In this context, the parties discussed the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” communication program and the steps being taken within its framework.
Armen Grigoryan and Allison Hooker also underscored the importance of the three Memoranda of Understanding signed between Armenia and the United States on August 8, and outlined possible directions for further cooperation. Within the framework of expanding bilateral partnership, the Secretary of the Security Council stressed the need to develop trade and economic relations as well as to establish direct flights.
