The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Met With Tasos Tzionis

During his working visit to the Republic of Cyprus, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with the National Security Adviser to the President of Cyprus, and the Director of the Intelligence Service, Tasos Tzionis.
The Secretary expressed his gratitude to the Cypriot side for the warm reception and underscored the high level of political relations between Armenia and Cyprus, highlighting the importance of high-level visits and ongoing contacts.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral political agenda, as well as opportunities for cooperation in multilateral formats. Armen Grigoryan thanked the Cypriot authorities for their consistent support of Armenian community structures.
The parties also touched upon the peace established in the South Caucasus and the steps being taken as a result. At the request of Tasos Tzionis, Armen Grigoryan presented the progress of the preparatory work necessary for implementing the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” project.
Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts to fully realise the potential of bilateral cooperation, for the benefit of strengthening the friendship between the two peoples and advancing issues of mutual interest.
