The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan Received Kęstutis Budrys

On May 19, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys.
The Secretary of the Security Council welcomed the delegation’s visit to Armenia and emphasized the high level of relations between the two countries and the active political dialogue.
The parties discussed a number of issues on the extensive agenda of Armenia–Lithuania bilateral relations and outlined avenues for further cooperation.
The interlocutors also addressed issues related to the agenda of the Armenia–EU strategic partnership, as well as the ongoing dialogue on visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU, expressing satisfaction with the first progress report on the implementation of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan (VLAP) submitted to Armenia by the European Commission. The report highly assessed the clear political commitment of the Armenian authorities to implement the reforms necessary for visa liberalization with the EU.
